Phoenix Neighborhood Walks, Part VI: Murals

I wasn't expecting Phoenix to be a city of murals, but it is. Maybe it's because concrete blocks, which (along with bricks) are the area's most common building material, are by nature drab; they both invite adornment and provide a relatively flat surface for self-expression. Whatever the case, I've been continuously charmed by the range of artistry on residential and commercial building walls. Enjoy!
